Vandra lives on a bush block in the Perth hills with her husband of 23 years, her two teenagers, her mother (who lives with her family), and their five chickens… plus a yard filled with bandicoots, and a host of birds who come for the chook food or the gumnuts. Vandra LOVES the environment, recycling, upcycling, volunteering, being kind, empowering young people & women, her community and recently (during and since the start of the pandemic) has found a love for growing succulents and avocado trees from seeds.

Vandra has always been passionate about self-development and did the Landmark Forum and a bunch of transformational programs from when she was 18 years old. As part of the Landmark Curriculum Vandra completed the Self-Expression and leadership course (a 3 month program) and soon after, became a coach on this program over a number of years. This was her first foray into transformational coaching and she loved it. This fueled her dream to “do this for a living”. In 2016, Vandra went to Sydney to do a Coaching for Life & Business Course with eQ Events and successfully completed Level 1, then subsequently completed Level 2 in early 2017. From 2018, Vandra also took on caring for her mother (in addition to her children), so her sister could pursue her dream of becoming an Archaeologist in the UK who also writes romance novels in her spare time. 

In 2021, Vandra earned a Cert III in Business & Cert III in Active volunteering. During this time Vandra decided that she wanted to keep coaching and re-registered her Abundant Heart business name and was reinvigorated to begin coaching again.
